Corporate Trust
The scheme seeks to provide corporation tax relief on contributions made by a limited company to a Trust for the benefit of employees by way of tax efficient discretionary payments.
This planning would suit companies whose current year pre-tax trading profits are in excess of £250k (prior to bonuses) with a good trading record combined with a history of discretionary bonus payments to key employees.
Land Development
This planning would shelter any uplifted value, in a tax efficient way when planning consent is granted. This would enable the investor to deal freely within the arrangement whilst reducing any income, corporation and/or capital gains tax liabilities.
Suitable for uplifted values in excess of £500k.
Investment Land
This planning can be used for the mitigation of chargeable gains relating to the holding of investment property, licensing of Intellectual Property including image rights, patents and the acquisition of newly formed company shares.
Furthermore, in relation to property, the income tax liability on any rental income generated from the properties can be greatly reduced by financing the purchases through the structure.
Suitable for properties collectively valued at £1m+.
Inheritance Tax Mitigation
Solutions exist for individuals owning assets chargeable to Inheritance tax.
Stamp Duty Land Tax Mitigation
The structure seeks to remove SDLT liabilities to companies and married couples/civil partners on the acquisition of chargeable property with a minimum value of £1m.
Contractor Tax Mitigation
This planning seeks to shelter 87% of a contractor’s income from tax and NI for those individuals caught by the IR35 regime because of their “single contract” method of employment, e.g. IT Contractors, Dentist Associates.
